JOB TITLE: Teacher/Coach for Paraprofessional Professional Development Facilitator

DIVISION: Academics

OFFICE: Office of Educator Development and Leadership and Boston Teachers Union

REPORTS TO: Co-chairs of BTU/BPS Paraprofessional Professional Development Team

 

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This is a stipended position offered to Boston Public School teachers. The positions will reside in the Office of Teacher Leadership and Development in the Boston Public Schools, reporting to the Co-chairs of BTU/BPS Paraprofessional Professional Development Team.  The Teacher/Coach for Paraprofessional PD Facilitator must be a teacher in an Early Childhood, Elementary, or Middle School classroom and will be responsible for both developing Paraprofessional PD Facilitator training and providing coaching to  Paraprofessional PD Facilitators. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Design and deliver training to prepare Paraprofessional Facilitators to develop and deliver   professional development course for Boston Public Schools paraprofessionals ( Online or In-person)

 

Support evaluation efforts of paraprofessional professional development workshops

COMPENSATION RANGE: Stipend - $3000
