REPORTS TO: Senior Director of Related Services Department or their designee

   

 

STIPEND POSITION OVERVIEW: The Office of Specialized Services (OSS) seeks a current BPS Related Service Provider to complete at home student related services placements.

 

The related service provider will need to be familiar with the related service provider at home student placement protocols, service provider availability, and the current placement procedures.  

 

This opportunity will occur primarily during the summer on an as needed basis from July 1, 2024 to August 31, 2024 up to 10 hours total.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

As part of the stipend opportunity, the related service provider will be required to:  

• Monitor the At Home Placement Request form.
• Communicate at home placements to COSE in a timely manner.
• Maintain the at home student master placement list.
• Answer questions from COSE about at home students as needed.

 

The stipend will be paid per student at the hourly rate of $56.81 and once the responsibilities are completed for each student. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED:

• Currently working in Boston Public Schools;
• Appropriate related service provider licensure.
