Dearborn STEM Academy is a Boston Public School and BPE Teaching Academy serving grades 6-12. Our goal is for all Dearborn students to be prepared to enter a purposeful, wealth-building career six years after high school graduation, and to access the incredible STEM opportunities available to them here in Boston. Dearborn is home to a full-inclusion Emotional Impairment program and a Cape Verdean Creole SEI and SLIFE program.

As a Teaching Academy, our school serves as a training site for both aspiring teachers participating in the Boston Teacher Residency and the Dudley Promise Corps, a neighborhood-based AmeriCorps service program. All members of our community work collaboratively to enact ambitious teaching and learning in service of student achievement goals.

Boston Public Schools seeks an exceptional Mathematics Teacher with an SEI Endorsement who is highly qualified and knowledgeable to join our community of teachers, learners, and leaders. This is an exciting opportunity for teachers who desire to serve where their efforts matter.  In BPS, the teachers and leaders are committed to the vision of high expectations for achievement, equal access to high levels of instruction, the achievement of academic proficiency for all students, and the closing of the achievement gap among subgroups within the schools.  BPS is a great place for those who seek to work in an environment that supports their creativity and innovation, and respects their skills and abilities as a teacher.
