POSITION OVERVIEW: 

Boston Collaborative High School (BCHS) is seeking an innovative Program Director to work with the middle school program within the school. BCHS is a non-traditional, alternative public high school serving 228 students from grades 7-12. As an alternative school, BCHS provides multiple ways for students to access learning: project-based, competency-based, online, and traditional.

 

The Program Director will manage multiple tasks associated with the middle school programs within BCHS and work to establish, implement and maintain systems that will ensure a highly effective and well-functioning learning environment, assessment procedures, data and data collection systems, and personnel management. The Program Director must be able to work with multiple stakeholders and school partners to help deliver the best experiences possible for BCSH students.

Terms: Managerial, Tier C, Full-time, 12 Months


NOTE: School-based managerial employees will work 223 days between July 1st and June 30th each year. The 223-day work-year will include the 180 days in which school is in session, and the additional days will be determined by the employee and the principal or head of schools of the school. School-based managerial employees are not eligible for vacation time or compensatory time. In the event of school cancellation due to snow or inclement weather, school-based managerial employees need not report to work.
