Opportunity Description:
BPS is seeking a team of teacher leaders to collaborate with central office team members to facilitate high-quality professional learning experiences that will launch in December 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitator Training
- Co-facilitate a 12 hour professional learning course with central office team members (Preferred)
- Attend 60 minute planning meetings between course sessions (Required).
Deliverables:
- Completion of course facilitation
- Completion of course attendance
Qualifications- Preferred:
Applicants should have:
- Experience implementing BPS supported curriculum with integrity (able to implement the curriculum in ways that maintain critical elements of the curriculum AND make appropriate adjustments to be responsive to students).
- Experience successfully facilitating adult learning.
- Experience or understanding of Universal Design for Learning, Culturally Responsive Learning Practices, Academic Language, and/or Specially Designed Instruction.
Terms:
Teacher leaders will be paid a stipend of $2,000 for work done outside of the contractual day.
